Beginning Watercolor Class - Part 1
No art or watercolor experience is required. 
I teach the basics of watercolors with some fun techniques. This is designed for students without any prior watercolor experience or for those who would like a refresher class. The first day includes instruction & demos, learning basic watercolor skills. Each student will make a bound watercolor sketchbook to keep as a reference. There will be time to practice techniques and explore the medium. Materials are provided for use & available for purchase at the end of class. On the second day students use their skills and techniques to create a small finished aerial landscape painting (see photo). Classes are held in South Land Park at Beverly's Unique Scrapbooking.

Classes are limited to 10 students.
Cost is $175 - 10 hrs. of instruction with use of materials included.
(with option to purchase supplies after class). Students will make a bound sample
book to keep as reference and is provided in materials.

Beginning Watercolor Class - Part 2
Part 2 is for is for students who have previously taken Part 1
(or already have good basic knowledge).
Skills will be built upon by learning additional watercolor techniques. More instruction provided about composition, perspective, layering washes, stretching paper, use of mediums & specific landscape elements (clouds & trees). The second day will be spent helping students create a small landscape painting of their choice (see photos). Materials are provided for use & available for purchase at the end of class. Students will need to bring their sample book made in the first class. Classes are held in South Land Park at Beverly's Unique Scrapbooking.

Drop-In Class
No instruction is provided, preregistration by email is required.
➡️ Date TBA Sat. 9am - 12pm
This is a 3 hour drop-in class for those students who want extra time and support with watercolors. Must have a good basic knowledge of watercolors or have taken Beginner Part 1 class. Students must bring all supplies needed. Instructor will answer questions, assist with problem solving, provide support, feedback & suggestions. There is no formal instruction in this 'class'.
Cost is $25 - Class is limited to 10 students (must be preregistered)
En Plein Air Class

A beginner En Plein Air class, pending interest. The class is for students familiar with watercolors, so there will be minimal watercolor instruction. A supply list will be provided & students will need to bring their own supplies. It will be held outside at a variety of locations in Sacramento, CA, including local parks and river areas. Please inquire if interested & check back for updates! Sign up for my email list in contacts or on my landing page.

Classes are limited to 10 students, adults & mature teens only (15+ yrs).
Class is held in South Land Park at Beverly's Unique Scrapbooking, Sacramento, CA.
Pay by check or Visa (online invoice sent via Square).
Fees must be paid in full within 2 weeks of class, otherwise your space may be forfeited and can be filled.
Full refunds will not be made less than 2 weeks before the class, but may be rescheduled for another date or gifted/transferred to another person.
No refunds for a no show.
$25 is reserved as a deposit, which will not be refunded.
